Alumni’s Share Your Story !

Your story is a powerful one. It speaks of commitment, learning, and the courage to carve your own path in the adventurous world of mountain sports. By sharing your journey, you can motivate others who are just starting theirs.

Your experiences, offer a source of inspiration to others who are just embarking on their own adventures in mountain sports. Your story is not just about your achievements, but about the journey itself—the struggles, the triumphs, the moments of doubt, and the surges of triumph. It serves as a powerful reminder that with dedication, learning, and courage, anyone can transcend their boundaries and achieve extraordinary things.

Your story,  is not just yours. It becomes a shared narrative, a source of collective inspiration. It’s a reminder that in the vast, majestic playground of the mountains, every step counts, every lesson matters, and every journey, no matter how solitary it might seem, is a part of a larger, more profound story of human endeavour and spirit.

Contact me, kkozak@whistleradventureschool.com, and we can discuss how we can share your story!

From Classroom to Career: Paving the Way

Abby, a recent graduate from Whistler Adventure School, is trailblazing a path for women in fields that have historically been male-dominated. Armed with her diploma as a Mountain Sport Technician, Abby is breaking barriers and shattering stereotypes. She has swiftly found her place as a skilled boot fitter at @comorgoplayoutside and has also become a key figure in the ski and snowboard tuning team at @profiletuning both in Whistler.

Abby’s journey demonstrates the power of the skills she acquired at WAS. With her determination and the knowledge she gained, she’s forging a career that aligns with her aspirations and defying gender norms in the process. Her story serves as an inspiration for all who aspire to pursue their passions and thrive in traditionally underrepresented roles. You’ve got this!

We can’t wait to see what else Abby does in the near future!
