The Boot Fitting course provides hands-on training in the art and science of fitting ski and snowboard boots for comfort, performance, and safety. Students work directly with boots, liners, and fitting tools, learning how proper fit impacts alignment, control, and overall experience on the mountain.
Through practical workshops and real-world scenarios, students gain confidence assessing foot shape, stance, and movement. Expert instructors guide students through proven fitting techniques used in professional retail and service environments.

This course is ideal for skiers, snowboarders, retail staff, and technicians who want to develop professional boot fitting skills. It’s well suited for those looking to improve customer experience, enhance performance outcomes, or pursue work in ski shops and mountain resorts.
Students will learn how to assess foot structure, biomechanics, and alignment to determine the correct boot fit for different individuals. Hands-on training includes liner molding, shell modifications, and fine-tuning adjustments to improve comfort and performance.
The course also covers common fit issues and how to diagnose and correct them effectively. Students develop communication skills to explain fitting decisions clearly and build trust with clients.
By the end of the course, students will confidently fit ski and snowboard boots to a wide range of foot shapes and ability levels. Graduates will be able to assess fit issues, apply effective modifications, and communicate solutions professionally. They will leave with practical, in-demand skills used daily in the snow sports industry.
