Bike mechanics and technicians who are new to electronic drivetrains and need practical skills for installation, setup, and troubleshooting in a professional shop environment. This module suits those already working with mechanical systems who want to expand their technical capability. It’s designed for individuals seeking hands-on, applicable knowledge rather than theoretical overview. If you’re ready to work confidently with Di2 systems from installation through custom setup, this training provides the foundation.

  • System setup, maintenance, problem diagnosis and repair
  • How to install and correctly setup each drivetrain component
  • Diagnose and repair shifting related issues
  • How to replace components and navigating compatibility concerns
  • Learn best practices for cleaning, lubing and maintenance of drivetrain components

By the end of this module, you will be able to perform complete installation, setup and customization of Shimano Di2 and Sram AXS systems for both road and MTB applications. You’ll diagnose faults systematically using on-bike and PC-based tools, and apply firmware updates when required. You’ll configure systems to specific rider preferences through junction box and computer interfaces. These skills prepare you to handle electronic drivetrain service and customization work independently in a shop setting.
