Open Shop Days

For WAS Mechanic Course Graduates

Students have asked, we’ve listened! Open Shop Days are a new offering in response to requests from WAS graduates who want more hands-on time after completing their course. This program provides mechanics with structured access to the shop to continue building confidence, speed, and precision in a semi-supervised environment, without the pressure of a formal class.

If you’ve completed a WAS mechanic course, Open Shop Days give you the space to practice what you’ve learned, refine techniques, and keep your skills sharp.

How It Works

Bring your own bike and work independently using WAS tools and facilities. Staff are on site for guidance if you get stuck or need a second set of hands on a task. Replacement parts and supplies are available at a discounted rate. If you’re planning a specific repair or build, we recommend booking ahead and checking in with WAS staff to ensure required tools or components are available.
