Where To Stay
Whistler Adventure School has partnered with HI Hostel Whistler and the Athlete’s Center to ensure affordable convenient accommodation for our students. Whether attending for a weekend or a month, both options have great nightly rates and a range of options to meet your needs and budgets. Long stay discounts are available too.
- Located minutes from the School in the locals’ Cheakamus Crossing neighbourhood, the site of the Athlete’s Village during the 2010 Winter Olympics.
- Convenient parking, bike storage and kitchen and meal options to suit.
- Amazing trails, roads and more right out the door – you can even ride singletrack to class, or jump in the river to cool off post-ride!
If you prefer to be in the heart of the action, Pangea Pod Hotel in Whistler Village provides a unique and affordable option as well.
For camping, WAS recommends a few different options, depending on your setup and your needs:
- Riverside Campground – from tenting to glamping yurts to quaint cabins, options abound. Close to the Village, next to the Spa. Great for families.
- Whistler RV Park – further from town, closer to nature.
- Whistler Olympic Park – Open sunny spots at the base of the Olympic Nordic Ski jumps.
- Cal-Cheak Provincial Rec Site – basic spots, no services, but quiet, scenic and affordable. At the confluence of the Callaghan and Cheakamus rivers.
