With this Cytech accredited course, the Cytech International Bicycle Mechanic Training manual is followed, with graduating students receiving Cytech technical one and Cytech technical two certification. Students learn a solid foundation in all aspects of professional bicycle assembly and repair. 

Focus is put on professional bike mechanic skills including drivetrain and brake installation and servicing, open and cartridge bearing servicing, wheel truing and wheel building, suspension principles and service, and the selection, installation, and repair of all components for a wide range of bicycles. With this Cytech accredited course, the Cytech International Bicycle Mechanic Training manual is followed, with graduating students receiving Cytech Theory and Practical Level 3 Certification. Cytech technical three is designed for advanced cycle mechanics with strong technical knowledge and experience working on high-end bicycles and equipment.

Upon completion of this course, the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to understand how suspension works and be able to translate this knowledge to different brands/models of suspension. They can describe the terminology, tools, oils, and components used when servicing suspension and demonstrate a full fork, rear shock, and seatpost service. Additionally, they will be able to explain how manufacturers design advanced wheels, build and lace an advanced wheel (road or mountain bike), understand how hydraulic brakes work and translate this knowledge to different brands/models of road and mountain bike systems, perform a variety of bleed processes, install caliper pistons and seals, understand how electronic gear systems work, diagnose Shimano Di2 and SRAM AXS systems, and set up an electronic gear system to specific rider preferences.
