This month of January has just been just buzzing. Our school has started the year with Ski & Snowboard Guide Training classes level 3, Principles of Digital Marketing, Outdoor Survival Skills (Snow Orientations) and Videography!

Our students have been enjoying the massive amounts of snow and sharing these amazing experiences with their classmates.

Ali’s Success Story

“I always wanted to do a season in a mountain town and was looking for a program to help me learn more about photography and marketing. I was advertised some information about the school on instagram and it felt like the perfect fit. I enrolled in the Marketing & Media Management program for October 2020 and finished my courses in April 2021. My hunt for a fitting co-op program led me to my current position in Banff, AB at Unlimited Skate & Snow. I work on the marketing team, doing social media management where I get to use my photography, editing and other marketing skills learned at WAS. I love it! I get to work in a mountain town that people dream about visiting with an incredible work/life balance that allows me to snowboard often. I’ve also been doing some contract work with other local brands doing lifestyle & snowboarding photography. Without the skills I learned at WAS I probably wouldn’t have applied to work with @unltdskateandsnow or have the confidence to seek out other photography projects.
